Creating a home is about more than just arranging objects; it’s about infusing spaces with joy that invite relaxation and inspiration. I have always been drawn to the interplay of texture, color, and light and hope my creativity has been reflected in the creation of my one of a kind lampshades.
Inspired by Australian Wildlife
As a keen photographer, gardener and previous florist, I draw on inspiration from my home town in Perth, Western Australia, where I am always captivated by the vibrant, Australian flora. I try and feature accomplished Australian textile designers and incorporate their designs into my lampshades.
At Urban Fresh Home, each lampshade is meticulously crafted in our studio, blending traditional craftsmanship with a modern flair. Drawing inspiration from the rich textures and colors of Australia's native plants, I select high-quality fabrics that evoke the beauty of nature, alongside luxurious prints from the UK and USA. Each lampshade not only illuminates but transforms spaces with a touch of wilderness, adding personality through color, texture, and thoughtful design.
Our Mission
Once the fabrics are selected, they are cut and shaped by hand to fit our custom-made frames, ensuring a perfect fit and finish. Attention to detail shines through in every fold, as I carefully assemble the lampshades to highlight the fabric’s texture and pattern. Whether it's a bold, contemporary print or a delicate, hand-printed design, the fabric is skillfully handled to maintain its integrity and beauty.
