I had a great experience here and learned how to make some cool lampshades. Kris is very welcoming and a great instructor. She also had some unique fabrics that make very unique conversation piece lamp shades. She also lets us customize our shades with any fabric we want to source and buy ourselves. Highly recommend Urban Fresh Home and I will definitely come back with my friends!

Attending Urban Fresh Home's lamp shade designer class is an experience that I will definitely do again!!! Kris, the instructor/owner, was exceptional!! My friends and I enjoyed an evening of wine, appetizers, and the art of creating lamp shades. It was SUCH FUN!! It was an extremely rewarding and unique experience! One last thought... Although you're welcome to bring the fabric of your choice - I ended up going with a GORGEOUS fabric she brought back from Australia.

I attended a class at Urban Fresh Home with Friends. We had a great time and learned a new skill. I made a sun fabric lampshade for my daughter’s room. It is such a cute touch to her room. Kris is so sweet & a great instructor. I definitely recommend if you are looking for something new & interesting to do.

Owner (Kris) is talented, warm, welcoming- a great teacher and host. I thought I just needed an evening out without the baby but it turned into a fantastic experience. I would not call myself ‘crafty’ but i thoroughly enjoyed every step of this and ended up with something I can proudly display. I brought my own fabric but the fabrics Kris had for sale were gorgeous & unique. What a great way to update a lamp and learn something new!
